Best Mykonos Beaches Guide

If you are planning a summer vacation, firstly, you need to choose a place that is right for you. Kalo Livadi, located 10 kilometers from Mykonos town and just 2 kilometers from the village of Ano Mera, is one of the longest beaches found. Super Paradise Beach, just minutes outside of Mykonos Town, is easily accessible via boat from Paraga Beach or Paradise Beach, giving it a bit more seclusion on the island.

Sheltered by a headland looking out over Paradise Beach Club, its super sibling was the island's first dedicated gay beach, but today draws a mixed crowd. The peninsula contains everything for a perfect honeymoon experience, blending sleepy fishing villages and white beaches with rich history, culture and hot sun.

Located here is one the the most beautiful beach towns in Greece, Platyialos. The Principote Mykonos is an elegant beach club that offers concierge services and gastronomic dining in a delightful seaside setting. The Peloponessos, for example, is referred to by many locals as the "true Greece" and has many stunning beaches, seaside mountains and unique towns such as Githeon.

Great beach with some nightlife, beach clubs (busier through the day than at night) within walking distance, boat service to Paradise and Super Paradise, and good bus connections to Mykonos Town. The southern beaches of Mykonos tend to be more popular and noisy due to the parties, but the northern beaches are equally attractive and tend to be quieter and calmer overall, ideal for families.

Paraga Beach Mykonos: It's a combination of two trendy beaches forming a larger one. It is reachable by local Travel bus leaving every half an hour from Mykonos Town. A boat runs between all these beaches and you can take it in either direction though it can be cancelled due to rough seas (in which case you'd take the bus).

These are located at the entrance of the town of Mykonos. Here you can expect more calm and tranquil moments, facilities that ensure your comfort, sandy shores and crystalline waters in which to immerse and relax in. These beaches are not usually overcrowded and are family friendly.
